Comfort - the comprehensive mental health care app designed to help you prioritize your well-being through personalized self-care, therapeutic resources, and a supportive community, all in the palm of your hand.

Description

Comfort is a mental health platform that provides emotional support through virtual and in-person therapy sessions, online communities, and a network of trained listeners. We offer affordable therapy for those without insurance and have an emergency helpline for immediate help. Our goal is to make mental health support accessible to all.

My Role

As Product designer, My responsibilities included:
- Conducting user research
- Creating user personas, entity maps, and user journeys.
- Prototyping our solutions
- Validating designs with user feedback sessions and testing
- Supporting implementation with specs, assets, and iteration which can help the engineers if we decide to build the product.

Research

I conducted user research in which i found two type of users, During the work of the project, I conducted competitive anaysis, sent out surveys and conducted several interviews with potential users of the app and identified their main pain points.

Competitive Analysis

I evaluated with qualitative and/or quantitative measures. We've compared pricing, and ads and all the features that are offered by these apps.

User Flow

When working on my project, I drew up the main scenarios for our primary target users. Initially, we created several varitions of the onboarding to oprtimize the registration process and added easiest way to skip and reach the homepage to help people in urgent need of emergency assistance.

Usability Testing

After completing the desing stage, I tested it with some random users, where we identified the main strength and weakness of the design

Design System

The Comfort design theme is a minimalistic style with a premium vibe that uses carefully selected colors and tones to induce an elevating, uplifting, and calming feeling. It has a simple font and keeps elements to a minimum, creating a product-focused web look. This theme will be used for both our website and mobile app design, offering a modern and timeless aesthetic.
